D-Glucarate

Prevents recirculation of dangerous metabolites

  • D-Glucarate is found naturally in fruits and vegetables. D-glucarate helps prevent compounds that have already been inactivated by the liver and excreted into the intestine from being released in the intestine by an enzyme called beta-glucuronidase allowing the compound to be re-circulated in the body loading it with dangerous metabolites which can damage DNA. It has been shown that within five hours of taking D-glucarate that it binds to carcinogens and facilitates their elimination in the stool.
  • D-glucarate has putative chemopreventative properties against numerous cancers  including, the lung, breast, colon and prostate.
  • An evidence base also shows that D-glucarate reduces the proliferation and growth of existing tumors.
